This Privacy Policy explains how Share InfoTech ("Company", "We", "Us") collects, utilizes, stores, and safeguards personal data when you use the Hostel Manager mobile applications, website, and digital property management tools.

We respect the confidentiality of both property owners and their resident tenants. By downloading, registering, or using Hostel Manager, you consent to the data collection and usage practices outlined herein.

2. Information We Collect

To provide property operations and tenant record facilities, we collect information voluntarily provided by you as well as technical device telemetry:

• Owner Registration Information: Name, mobile phone number, email address, property name, business address, and designated bank/UPI details for rent receipt generation. Mobile number and email are required to identify your account uniquely and deliver operational notifications.
• Tenant KYC & Onboarding Records: Full name, guardian/emergency contact numbers, age, gender, workplace/college verification details, permanent address, and government identification proofs (Aadhaar, Voter ID, Passport, Driving License) submitted during counter QR check-in.
• Property & Operational Data: Bed inventory assignments, room electricity sub-meter numbers, rent payment ledger entries, and maintenance ticket logs.
• Device & Telemetry Data: IP address, device model, operating system version, and anonymous performance crash logs collected via Google Play Services to maintain app stability.

3. Sharing of Tenant Data with Property Owners

If you are residing as a tenant or guest in a property managed via Hostel Manager:

• Your personal profile, emergency contact numbers, and submitted identity documents are shared directly with your verified property owner/manager for local legal compliance and police verification requirements.
• We never sell or rent your personal information to third-party marketing companies, advertisers, or lead brokers.
• Tenant data is utilized strictly by your designated property owner to administer your stay, issue rent receipts, and process check-out settlements.

4. Data Security & Storage

We enforce rigorous technical and organizational measures to safeguard all database records:

• All network communications between our mobile apps, web portal, and cloud servers are encrypted using modern Transport Layer Security (TLS 1.3 / SSL).
• Database servers are stored behind enterprise-grade firewalls with restricted, multi-factor authentication controls.
• Digital ID document uploads (Aadhaar cards, photos) are stored in encrypted object storage containers accessible solely by the authorized property owner.

5. Google Play Data Safety & Third-Party SDKs

Our Android application (hostel.pg.manager) complies strictly with Google Play Data Safety policies. We use only standard Google Play Services for core functionality:

• Google Play Services: Used for app delivery, license verification, and core runtime dependencies.
• Google Analytics (GA4): Collects aggregated, non-personally identifiable traffic metrics (page visits, session length) to help us improve user experience.

6. Data Retention & Account Deletion Policy

In accordance with global developer standards and Indian data privacy regulations:

• Account Deletion Function: Property owners and registered users can initiate account deletion at any time directly through the app menu or by contacting support@hostelmanager.in.
• Deletion Timeline: Upon receiving a formal data deletion request, all personal identifiers, property inventories, and stored documents are permanently purged from our active databases within 90 days.
• Archival Exception: Basic transaction logs may be retained solely where mandated by applicable Indian accounting, GST, or statutory tax regulations.
